GOLF TOURNAMENT & SILENT AUCTION
The Vista International Pink Ribbon Classic is a charity golf event for women and about women, conducted by the Quad Cities Chapter of the Executive Women's Golf Association. A full 100% of the net proceeds are donated to Gilda's Club of the Quad Cities and are dedicated to supporting breast cancer education and patient assistance programs for people in our own community. Gilda's Club is a special non-profit organization where the focus is on living and coping with cancer. The goal of this year's Pink Ribbon Classic is to present a golf event for women that will partner with local businesses to raise significant funds in support of Gilda's Club. The contribution goal this year is to raise at least $40,000. Over $38,000 was raised last year by keeping the tournament entry fee reasonable for participants, and offering a multitude of other donation opportunities such as raffles, contests, mulligan sales and a Silent Auction.
