LEAGUE START/END: April 26/August 16
LEAGUE SIZE: League is limited to 20 members.
LEAGUE FORMAT: Stroke play.
LEAGUE DESCRIPTION: New this year will be a
nine-hole league at Rustic Ridge in Eldridge, Iowa. This league will be on
Monday and can accommodate 16 golfers and will be a 16-week league beginning
April 26. Rustic Ridge tee times for the first 5 weeks will start at 4:30
and then switch to 5:30 starts on June 7 for 10 weeks and then back to 4:30.
This is to accommodate a previous league. Rustic Ridge is a very relaxing
course, just what you need after a hectic Monday at work.
LEAGUE CAPTAINS: Pam Bramman and Shelly Anderson
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Rustic Ridge is a nine-hole course with
fairly flat terrain, easy to walk. There are two ponds on Hole No. 7, a
par 3. A creek winds through Holes 2 and 9. Otherwise, this a fairly
wide open course with few sand traps, mature trees, and no woods. The rough is usually
mowed short so you can easily spot a wayward tee shot. Check out the newly
remodeled clubhouse.
LEAGUE POLICY: When you sign up for an EWGA League you are required to
pay the league fee, in advance, for the entire season. Once the league has
started no refunds will be given. If you are unable to continue to participate
in a league, you may arrange for another member to replace you for the balance
of the season. You, however, are responsible for negotiating compensation from
the person replacing you on the league. The league captain and EWGA Board will
not be involved.
