Duck Creek League

TEE TIMES: Start 5:07 p.m.
LEAGUE START/END: May 12/August 16
LEAGUE FORMAT: Individual Stroke Play. Handicap will be established for each
golfer during league play.
LEAGUE DESCRIPTION: New this year is a nine-hole league at
Duck Creek in Davenport. Duck Creek will accommodate 12-16 golfers with
tee times starting at 5:07 p.m. for 14 weeks.
LEAGUE CAPTAIN: Julie Jones and Barb Ehrmann
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Duck Creek Golf Course has rolling terrain,
and an occasional splash in the creek can be heard. Duck Creek is a
beautiful 18-hole golf course which is 5,759 yards long (blue tees) and plays to
a par of 70. It is the site of a former private arboretum and its 140 acres
feature a mature stand of trees and dramatic changes in elevation as it follows
Duck Creek eastward to the city's boundary. This challenging facility is popular
with all skill levels. Can you find a sand trap
anywhere on this course?
LEAGUE POLICY: When you sign up for an EWGA League you are required to
pay the league fee, in advance, for the entire season. Once the league has
started no refunds will be given. If you are unable to continue to participate
in a league, you may arrange for another member to replace you for the balance
of the season. You, however, are responsible for negotiating compensation from
the person replacing you on the league. The league captain and EWGA Board will
not be involved.
