Byron Hills League

Tuesday Evenings - 9 holes - 16 Weeks

TEE TIMES: Start 5:14 p.m.
LEAGUE START/END: April 27/August 10
LEAGUE FORMAT: Individual Play. Handicap will be established for each
golfer during league play.
LEAGUE DESCRIPTION:
This is a less structured league in that there are not assigned tee times or
designated foursomes. You are encouraged to "mix it up" and golf with everyone.
The League Captain maintains statistics throughout the season, i.e., league
average, league handicap, pars, birdies, bogies, putts. Tee off will
alternate between the Front Nine and the
Back Nine.
LEAGUE CAPTAIN: Barb Reiland
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This is a medium length course from the Forward Tee
Boxes (5258 yards). The course is laid out over rolling hills and offers a nice
variety of holes from sharp dog legs to straight fairways, there is some water,
there are some ravines, blind shots and there are some elevated greens. This
course challenges the intermediate and advanced golfers without frightening the
new golfers.
LEAGUE POLICY: When you sign up for an EWGA League you are required to
pay the league fee, in advance, for the entire season. Once the league has
started no refunds will be given. If you are unable to continue to participate
in a league, you may arrange for another member to replace you for the balance
of the season. You, however, are responsible for negotiating compensation from
the person replacing you on the league. The league captain and EWGA Board will
not be involved.
